Drawing inspiration from the site’s location and historic context, the proposed scheme fuses functionality with creative use of large scale industrial materials. The main drama of the space is provided by the stage – a dramatic and theatrical moving gantry crane that maximizes the flexibility of the space and that has the potential to become an iconic feature within the city.
