Ireland as an island nation is reliant on airports for travel, including for emigration, which, unlike other counties is associated with strong emotions (being the point of separation and re-union of family and loved ones). The design vision was to create positive emotions through nature and simple beauty that represents the local landscape with gently rolling hills and scattered woodland, presenting a glimpse of Ireland’s rural landscape and heritage.
