Dan Egan
(Landscape Architect, Spatial Planner, Director)
BA (Hons) Land Arch, Dip Env Mgt, MSc Spatial Planning, CMLI, ILI, IPI
Dan is a Landscape Architect and Spatial Planner as well as Director of TBS since establishing the practice in 2004, in Malahide, Co Dublin. With over 20 years experience, he has considerable working knowledge in all aspects or urbanism and landscape and is passionate about quality design solutions that are responsive to place, culture and the environment. His strengths include landscape planning, masterplanning, strategic and conceptual design through to detail design and project construction.
He also has extensive experience in dealing with the landscape and visual issues of Environmental Impact Assessments within the energy / extractive/ infrastructure and commercial sectors and more recently Strategic Environmental Assessment, Appropriate Assessment and Green Infrastructure Planning.
Dan is a former tutor to final year MLA Landscape Architecture degree students, UCD and guest tutor at Dun Laoghaire Senior College.

Gareth Toolan
(Project Landscape Architect)
BSc Landscape Architecture (First Class Honours)
Gareth graduated from UCD with a first class honours degree in 2009. He is experienced in all elements of landscape and public realm design and has a distinctly artistic yet practical approach to his work informed by his interest in the environment and his love of the countryside.
His strengths lie in concept and sustainable design as well as computer graphics/visualisations. Gareth has experience of managing a diverse range of projects from design through to implementation.
He has also taken part in a number of local and international design competitions and in an international workshop in Krakow, Poland.

Maruša Šubic
(Landscape Architect)
BSc Landscape Architecture design and planning
Maruša finished her bachelor degree in Landscape architecture department in Biotechnical faculty, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. She continued her master degree with a semester in Leibniz University in Hanover, Germany and three semesters of studies in Slovenia. Her study program covered landscape design as well as landscape planning.
During her studies she was an active member of ELASA (European landscape architecture student association). Her previous education as graphic designer gives her an eye for detail and a strong understanding of considered design.
